How LOOKAyou! handles account information, family photos, book content and purchase information.
Information We Collect
We may collect account and contact information, information you provide while creating a book, uploaded photos and other content, order and shipping details, customer-support communications, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
Children’s Privacy
LOOKAyou! is intended for adults who create books for children. Children should not create accounts or submit personal information directly. If you upload information or photos concerning a child, you represent that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or that you have the authority and permission needed to provide that material.
How We Use Information
We use information to create and deliver personalized books, operate accounts, process payments and orders, provide customer support, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
Service Providers
We use service providers to operate LOOKAyou!, including providers for hosting, databases and storage, artificial-intelligence processing, payments, printing and shipping, email, security, and analytics. They may process information as necessary to provide those services.
Photos and Book Content
Family photos and story details may be processed to create characters, stories, illustrations, previews, and finished books. We do not claim ownership of the original photos or personal content you upload. You grant us the rights reasonably necessary to process that content and fulfill your requests.
Payments
Payment-card information is processed by our payment provider. LOOKAyou! should not store complete card numbers or card security codes on its own servers.
Retention and Deletion
We retain information as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain required business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Where the product provides a permanent-delete feature, deletion may remove the book and associated project content, subject to limited records we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or transaction purposes.
Your Choices
You may review your books and account information through your account. You may contact us about privacy questions, corrections, or deletion requests. Certain transaction records may need to be retained.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy as LOOKAyou! changes. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
