Data deletion instructions
You can request deletion of your LOOKAyou! account and personal data, including information received through Facebook Login.
Request deletion by email
- Email support@lookayou.com with the subject LOOKAyou data deletion request.
- Send the request from the email address associated with your LOOKAyou! account when possible. If you use Facebook Login, identify the email address associated with that login. If you cannot access that email address, explain that in your message so we can help verify ownership.
- Tell us whether you want your entire account and associated personal data deleted, or only specific books, uploaded photos or Facebook login information. Include book titles or order references only if needed to identify the requested content.
Do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or additional family photos with your initial request. We may ask for limited information needed to verify ownership before deleting data.
What happens after your request
We review your request, verify account ownership, and contact you if we need clarification. Once the request is processed, we will confirm completion by email and explain any information that must be retained.
An account-deletion request covers the account and associated personal information, including Facebook login identifiers and profile information stored by LOOKAyou!, uploaded photos, character information and book content, subject to the limited retention described below.
Deleting your account or book content may permanently remove access to projects and downloads. Save any copies you want to keep before requesting deletion. Tell us if you have an outstanding order so we can discuss its status before processing your request.
Limited retention
Some transaction, accounting, security or dispute records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or protect against fraud. Copies in backups may remain until those backups expire under the applicable retention process. We will explain applicable exceptions when responding to your request.
Remove the Facebook connection
You can also remove LOOKAyou from Facebook through Facebook’s Apps and websites settings. Find the app named Lookayou login and choose the option to remove it.
Removing this connection does not by itself delete your LOOKAyou! account, photos or books. Email us using the instructions above to request deletion of data held by LOOKAyou!. This process does not delete your Facebook account or content held by Facebook.
